DeSoto County Fire Rescue

We are the sole provider of emergency medical services and fire suppression within the incorporated and unincorporated areas of DeSoto County. DeSoto County Fire Rescue’s service area consists of 637 square miles and maintains three stations 24 hours a day. The department is comprised of 54 career firefighter members and 20 volunteers on a 24 hrs. on /48 hrs. off rotation. It is the intent of the department to utilize evolving technology to enhance all emergency services through effective training and professional development. 

Mission

It is the mission of DeSoto County Fire Rescue to prevent the loss of life and property to all of its residents and visitors through efficient and quality fire prevention programs.
