County Service Officer

The enactment of the Florida Statute 292.11 of 1945, was the way cleared to have a trained proficient County Service Officer in each of Florida's 67 counties.

They know the extent, the meaning, and the application of the laws that have been passed by the U.S. Congress and State Legislature, in the interest of the veterans and their dependents. They also have knowledge of the rules and regulations adopted by the VA to clarify and implement the Laws.

The Veterans Service Office staff will apply specialized knowledge in the best way suited to the need of every individual veteran or beneficiary who comes to them. All information conveyed to the staff is privileged and will be held in strict confidence.
