DeSoto County is offering a limited amount of non-recurring general funds for Nonprofits to support COVID-19 efforts in the community. The County will accept applications from existing, qualifying not-for-profit organizations that serve the residents of DeSoto County.  The application cycle is intended to be flexible to allow applicants to request funds for an array of services and assistance to DeSoto County residents.  This flexibility is designed to allow for innovative approaches to meet a myriad of unmet needs in the community.

 

 

Applications for the above funding can be picked up at the DeSoto County Administration Office located at 201 East Oak Street, Suite 201, Arcadia, Florida, 34266.  The application period will continue until the funds have been totally encumbered.

Fund recipients must agree to comply with all criteria and requirements as set forth by the DeSoto County Board of County Commissioners. The DeSoto County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to close any funding application period. The DeSoto County Board of County Commissioners does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, disability, or age.
